2,000 MQMs?? From Detroit.
I fly out of Detroit and need 1,800 min MQMs to get Platinum. Best route for me? Was thinking Savanah? Does that do it?

Without checking, this seems like it would probably be a relatively cost-effective answer.

The other option, if you have trips left this year, can you upgrade some of your flights for bonus MQM?

DTW-MSP-FLL or MIA your best bet for cheapest option for most MQM.

The cheapest fares on DTW-MIA/FLL have a non-stop routing requirement. Trying to add MSP connection will bump you up into higher fares that permit connections. Further, finding flights with bucket availability in cheaper fare buckets with a MSP routing is generally going to be challenging. Non-stop's on DTW-DEN go for $114 each way in Main are probably best bet (non-stops on DTW-MIA/FLL go for $124 each way in Main).
