Delta main baggage allowance for Skyteam Elite Plus

Delta main baggage allowance for Skyteam Elite Plus
I am Skyteam Elite Plus via ITA Airways. If I book JFK to MIA on Delta Main, will I get a first piece of checked baggage for free? Please see the below page:

But I found contraddicting info on the Internet. Any direct experience from anyone?

Even better, as as Skyteam Elite plus you get one extra bag to check-in for free. So, 2 in total, since 1 bag is already included in the Main fare

You are mistaken. Domestic DL Main fares do not include a checked luggage allowance (first check bag is $30). So OP will only get one bag free.

Wow, I completely forgot about domestic Main not including the 1st bag. Never noticed it because of Amex free bag benefit and status.

However, the OP flies JFK to Italy, so 2 bags with the status
