For Pete's Sake, what the heck does he know about any of this?
He'll be doing TV ads for them
Now Gronk, HE could help the product
I mean, I guess hiring Tom is a huge troll job by Delta for the good people of Atlanta

Ah so that's why they need to cut down on elite benefits (rumor) and reduce the value of SkyMiles redemptions -- gotta pay TB12 to be a strategic advisor.
Seriously what is the point of this. The guy isn't active anymore and the only way he's going to be flying Delta is through a technicality flying on Wheels Up. Plus he's no longer directly linked to Boston so it's not like when Alaska Airlines did something similar with Russell Wilson.

first the clown from six flags and now this
dl used to be the airline that didn't care about flashiness, just a solid product that was reliable and usually on time. now all they seem to care about are worthless gimmicks and instagrammable bs.

The company I work for hired a very prominent professional athlete and there was a collective eye roll assuming it was just a PR stunt. Turns out that after the initial press release, there has been zero use of him in public and he has made a lot of really big contributions behind the scenes in a field he is truly passionate about. Maybe that will be the case here, but I also don't have a lot of faith in DL's management that seems to be easily swayed by the allure of shiny objects

Brady's degree is in General Studies with minors in both psychology and business administration.
The job description sounded more like an internal, employee facing job.

Delta is deflating the fallout from next week Sky Miles program update. New York market only positive will be Giant fans, as Eli 2 - TB12 zero.
When was the last time that TB12 flew on a non-charter flight (team related) or step foot in public airport? TB12 owns a Gulfstream G550, as he goes from chauffeured car arriving in the tarmac and walks up the private plane stairs.
TB12 is a Wheels Up ambassador, that’s the Delta tie in.
