Haha, even their wide body fleet is like EK up front and NK in back!

American Platinums and United Golds, both which are the second tier of their status levels (aka the Delta Gold-equivalent) get their respective version of Comfort+ at booking. Not at Delta though.

ua's c+ equivalent doesn't include adult beverages, and I;m always just as floored by this as when I first found out.

As a 1k you get a free snack and drink. It sort of balances out. DL doesn't give away snack boxes but I might get two drinks. Maybe.

If you are going to fly a lot just be prepared to be disappointed. It is a lot easier.

How does it balance out? The amount to pay to move to C+ seats vs. spending $24K (or 18K with 54 flights) with UA each year before taxes/fees just to get some lousy snack boxes and a shot of liquor to remind you the true cost of those snack boxes and drinks. I say this as a 1K on UA and barely nothing on DL

Extra leg room offerings are also very different between these airlines. UA and AA consider exit rows as a C+ equivalent, but a Silver Medallion on DL can select an exit row seat for no additional charge.

Even with the higher level requirement for DL, I would say AA is the worst of the three in actually being able to select an extra legroom seat.

Yes, fair point on the exit row on DL, that's a bit of a consolation. I don't really consider the offerings "very" different, really just minor F&B. I have very little recent experience with AA MCE, but UA E+ definitely has lots of availability as it's lots of rows. DL C+ isn't great unless you're booking well in advance.

To be fair, a lot of this for better or for worse is that DL is probably monetizing these seats much better than UA is too. It's annoying sometimes since I book closer in a lot when Comfort+ is still full 3 weeks out, but the marketing for C+ seems a lot more aggressive especially with it being its own fare class compared to UA and even AA.
