Same flight, different seat map?
My husband and I are on the same flight tomorrow. Two different reservations as I am flying somewhere else first to drop the kids off at the Grandparents. We meet in ATL and continue on to PBI together.
I double checked no less than 3 times during the booking process that the flights were the same. I picked our seats in exit row together, me 27A and him 27C. When I made the reservations and picked the seats, I am 100% positive that it showed the same as I almost always go for 27A because I like the easy access to the bathroom plus the window seat (in fact, I’m 27A on all 5 flights I have tomorrow) and I would have noticed the different exit row on the seat map. Now today, his reservation is showing a different seat map for the same flight. His seat is still 27C. Both flight details still show an A321. I have refreshed and quit the app a few times. Flight radar also still shows an A321. My thoughts are: 1. Technical glitch 2. Aircraft swap that is showing the new map on his but not mine yet? Any thoughts? Mine on top, his on bottom. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fa63e4c00.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...83ce3cf09.jpeg |
Your seat map is an a321 and the other is a 737-900. Flightaware shows your flight as being an a321 (N103DY). So seems like this is a technical glitch in your husband's seatmap.

I have no idea where the second seatmap is coming from. Looks like a 739.
Currently assigned tail, scheduled type code, GDS seatmap, and seatmap for purchase on dl.com all show a 321, which is consistent with what you see. |
