Outdated 737 - N3764D
 

Pretty sure this plane hasn't been updated in many years. Very old IFE that wouldn't work most of the flight, wifi kept going in/out, old luggage bins, etc.

It was a long 3 hours in this old bird!

Unfortunately there are still a few of these non-updated 738s around. Not sure how many are left or what the plans are if they will get refurbished, or are slated to get retired.

The equipment you were on had Viasat so should've been the free internet and normally works quite well.

The original 30 73Hs (with the old school IFE and seats) are suppose to get mods around the same time the ex-Lion Air 739s go in for mods starting next year I believe.

Flew on this plane from PHX-SEA in June - Still has this old interior in 2023! Honestly kind of cool as a novelty to still see a cabin like this, but c'mon Delta!

Luckily these birds do now have new Viasat wi-fi.

The good thing is the seats are so comfortable! I love that big cushioned seat!

Take this anyday over the miserable 737-900.

I got to fly one of these 'classic' 737s with the tiny IFE screen and small movie database again... at least internet worked well but the interior did feel quite old.

The first class seats are like a meter thick. They're very comfy (but do lack headrests).

Flying right now on an old 737-800 SJD-SEA. They had to restart the entertainment system mid flight. WiFi is great though.

Still a handful of these 738s out there. Still way better than most AA and UA interiors.

Yeah I've had several of these microscreen AVOD planes on the BOS-MSY route since they've been using 738s from several months ago. Seems like theres still a lot of these around as I've encountered them on other routes recently as well.

I was on one of the 738s with skyteam livery a few weeks ago. Really glad for the free wifi so I could get some work done in flight as the entertainment system was a joke. The handful of movies was a throwback to the days of overhead tvs.

There's only 26 left flying with these screens, which will go down to 0 pretty quickly this year.

Those seats are more comfortable than those on either the 739 or the A321N
