Any interior pics/video walkthru of the bad 737s?
Does anyone have any photos or videos of the new bad 737s that are running the short legs out of ATL? Been looking but can’t find anything.

I believe they're the ex-Lion Air 739s (The rumors were true. The deal is done. 7 ex-LATAM A350s 29 ex-Lion Air 737-900ERs)
I haven't seen any pics, but based on the travel bloggers, you can tell from the seatmap when there's only 3 rows of F and no C+ cabin. Apparently not all of them have wifi or electric outlets either as of late 2022. - https://onemileatatime.com/news/delt...ing-737-900er/. Maybe there's more information in the 737 thread? First Class Seat Photos
Yikes! Sitting in F now ATL to SAV and this looks ancient!

I put the legrest out and couldn't figure how to put it back in!

Backside of the paddle controller.

Not sure what this is supposed to control?

It comes out!

Was in one of them last week though didn’t get any pictures- they do show the first bulkhead row of Main Cabin as C+ since there’s a little extra leg room.
They’re acceptably clean and nothing visually offensive, they’re just rather 2003 in terms of technology.
If it was not banned by FAA regulations, I’d be tempted to smudge a little sage on the plane to get rid of any remaining Lion Air bad mojo, but for a sub-hour flight into ATL, it’s generally okay and IMO better than a WN flight would be.

I have been on h\them a few times, ATL-BHM. I am 30 of 32 for UG this year, the 2 missing flights were on these due to only 3 rows of 1st. But in row 1 I can't touch my feet to the bulkhead there is so much room, the same is true for the first row of C+. Smaller bins. No IFE but WIFI. Small coat closet. All the rest seems to be about the same as DL own 939-900

Yes. Management loves to pick up gently used aircraft on the cheap. Sometimes it works out well for passengers- the 717s are a perfectly nice replacement for former Mad Dog routes- other times like this not so much.
The problem isn’t the planes themselves but that Delta is short on that size aircraft frames at this point so they’re sending them out before they’re retrofitted to Delta normal standards.

Good is very doable- it’s a workhouse plane that does well for 1-3.5 hour short and medium haul flights and can be configured to have comfortable seating options for that flight length.
It’s never going to rise to great though because that’s not what it was designed to be.
