Sky Club - Upgrade cost to go from Ind to Exec?

I have the DL Reserve Platinum which gives me access as an individual, and my downgrade from Diamond to Platinum for 2023 takes my choice benefit of this away. Is there a published or unpublished rate to reinstate this - the upgrade to executive from individual? $50/ guest is not going to happen with me. And yes, I know about the crowds and the lines....

I very much doubt there is any workaround. The Guest Pass option is also going away for DMs with 2024 CBs. No doubt related to the big hike in Exec level membership pricing (and Exec membership will consume 3 CB's for 2024 instead of 2).

You can pay to upgrade an individual membership to executive, but I have bad news for you, you don't have an individual membership to upgrade. You have access via amex, which is not a club membership.

If there is someone you frequently take to the SC with you then you can add them as an authorized user on your Reserve card for $175 per year. If they are a work colleague or someone else you would prefer not to have credit card authorization you can make their spending limit $1.00 or you keep the physical card and don’t give them the number.

They'll need the card for access. At a minimum to add it to their My Wallet.

Would AMEX actually let you institute a $1.00 spending limit on an AU card?

If they are traveling with you then DL will already have the info when that person scans their boarding pass. They won’t need to show the physical card.

Yes. I have cards for my employees with an alert every time they spend $1.00. And you can keep the physical card.

However they have to enter card into their My Walket for DL to have that info. There's no link between the Skymiles account of an AU Reserve card user otherwise. If they scan their BP no associated method of access will come up, absent adding the card.

anyone know the following? my company pays for an individual skyclub membership. in the past I have used one of my 3 DM choices to upgrade to Executive. Can i still do that? Will it take 2 choices? it won't be the full three since I already have the individual membership. Just want to upgrade.

It's still listed for 2023 Choice Benefits for one Choice -- https://www.delta.com/content/www/en...-benefits.html
It will be discontinued as an option for 2024 Choice Benefits.

All 3 DM choice benefits to get you and 2 guests SC access. All or nothing for 2024.
