GM on a miles + cash fare, BOS-SJU: cleared to C+ 72hrs out and to FC at the gate, 3/13, top 5 cleared - as another data point, my traveling companion on a diff reservation is SM and was 11/13 for FC but cleared to C+ at 24hrs

on the return SJU-BOS, T fare: FC 5/11 (1 person cleared), there was an 8 person waitlist for C+ with 3 clearing, I didn't join because I had snagged 21A instead.

PM with no Reserve:
3/31 BOS-JFK E175: L fare, cleared into F at PM window
4/9 JFK-BOS E175: L fare, cleared into F at PM window

Currently 9/9 for the year... it's nice being a medallion in BOS (although I wish they'd add more SFO flights)

PM on a cheap award ticket w/Reserve:
SLC-JFK 4/6: C+ at booking, 2/16 for 1 F (closest I've ever been to clearing on a non-holiday on this route... but alas).
JFK-BTV 4/6: C+ at booking, cleared to F at the PM window.
BOS-SLC 4/11: 3/20 for 3 F, 1/7 for 2 C+, cleared to F at the gate. First meal flight non-RUC upgrade in quite a while (last summer?) - benefits of being back on a midweek schedule.

Now 7/18 to F on the year.

PM with Amex Reserve
JFK- PHX 4/1 - RUC cleared at check in (had to move it from a flight later in the year, but worth it as it was the 757-200 75S with D1 seats
PHX-JFK 4/9 - Cleared at T-5 Window (first time this year)\

1/6 this year for upgrades without a RUC applied

PM - cash ticket.
4/12 - SFO-JFK- Used RUC. Booked on 3/29. Email said waitlist at booking. Had to call into Delta T-5 to get added onto the waitlist (turns out the system does not add you automatically at booking). Cleared at T-24 and ticket had to be reissued to check in.

4/12 - JFK-CLE - Cleared at booking via RUC. Booked on 3/29

Next trip is with the family so no upgrades to be gotten, and egads, next business flight is (clutches pearls) mid-April... Running stats: 2/3 (67%) any upgrade; 1/3 (33%) for FC. Total value to date (calculated as buy-up cost on app at five days out from departure): $152.
3/22. DL 5769 BOS-DCA. Had C+ on later flight but SDC at gate to get on earlier flight; ended up in poor man's C+ aka no neighbor in 10A. 3/24. DL 5700 DCA-BOS C+ booked in the other poor man's FC on the E175 aka seat 5B with unlimited legroom. 1/8 for FC with 1 seat, but filled (maybe SDC?) at T-4. No UG. 4/12. Award tickets in Main. UG to C+ on both flights at T-18. DL 2118 BOS-RDU. 1/7 for 3 FC; must have been certificates or SDC ended up as #1 on list with 0 remaining. Connected to DL 1018 RDU-FLL. 7/10 for 1 FC seat; no UG. Was just glad to land and get my rental car before the airport flooded and shut for 24 hrs. Total value on UGs: $62. Running stats: 4/6 (66%) any upgrade; 1/6 (17%) for FC. Paradoxically, numbers down from last year as Silver but most of that flying was done in summer with less medallion competition. Total value to date (calculated as buy-up cost on app at five days out from departure): $214.

Not looking great
Update since las post
0/10 this year on same routes and on a couple of las-lax
I have four more segments this weekend on a LAS-SLC am already #6 o UG list
I sense this Medallion program (and the MM) is becoming sort if worthless

PM/3MMM/Reserve Card on a T bucket ticket CLE-ATL-LAS-MSP-CLE.

When I booked the ticket I could not get C+ on ATL-LAS, so I took an exit row seat on the A321.

At the 120 hour windows, I got UG'd to F LAS-MSP (the redeye) and MSP-CLE.

I was supposed to do the CLE-ATL-LAS trip at 6 am this morning; I had to be in the office for much of today, so I did a same-day confirmed change to the last departure of the day CLE-ATL-LAS. I got upgraded immediately to F on the CLE-ATL; a few minutes later, I got the e-mail from the Delta Upgrade Fairy that i got one of the last two F seats ATL-LAS. Needless to say, I am very pleased.

GM with no Reserve + 1 basic companion on a companion fare:
3/29 MSP-DFW: X fare, we were not even close to an upgrade for either C+ or F.
4/8 DFW-MSP: X fare, cleared into C+ at GM window, and cleared into F less than 2 hours later.

I have gotten an upgrade to First on DEN-BOS as an FO. The benefits of medallion status definitely vary by station and route.

The A321neo is nice but the recliners are not competitive with JetBlue Mint on BOS-SFO. I believe UA also flies planes with lie-flats on this route.

PM 2MM with Reserve
Flying the redeye DEN-DTW-DCA on Dec 19 (leaves DEN after midnight)
I paid for the UG DEN-DTW because the price was great and I wanted the UG for the overnight.
Checked in and was 3 of 3 for 3 seats DTW-DCA until arrived at DTW where I'd dropped to 4/3 for 3 seats - I was okay because I was in 10C and the middle looked like it was going to be empty.
Just before boarding I got the UG and one of the previously UGed names dropped off. I got lucky, I guess - misconnect or noshow?
