Million Miler Lifetime Platinum/Diamond & Choice Benefits Question

If you earn lifetime Platinum or Diamond as part of the Million Miler Program, do you also get annual Choice Benefits? Or do you need to qualify for these each year even though you are lifetime Platinum or Diamond?

Did a search and couldn't find the answer to this question.

Thanks you my experts out there!

Richard

I think the likelyhood is that Choice Benefits are only given to those who actually earn the status through one of the normal channels. Comp status would not count.

This would be consistent with MMs not getting rollover unless they earn at least FO status according to the usual rules. Also, extended PMs and DMs didn't get choice benefits this year.

IIRC, you can only earn up to "annually renewed" PM at 4MM. "Annually renewed" DM isn't a possibility.

"Lifetime" or "Annually renewed" DM at 6MM.

Some posts from 2016 imply that that 4MM PMs do get a choice benefit:

"Annual Complimentary Status" gone?

anyone with more recent DPs?

Also curious about this. Any data points from current lifetime members?

Should get CB. Only thing didn't get was MQM rollover, but that goes away this year anyway.

From the Forbes article:

"Delta has experienced significant overcrowding in its lounges, in part due to the superior experience it offers in its Sky Clubs. The lounges are often newer, with more impressive food and beverage options."

No commentary needed.

I have the same question now that 3MM means annual DM (which seems very generous, although 360 at 5MM is even better). I looked at this morning's email and the attached webpages carefully and didn't see any relevant information (although the implication is that the current Choice Benefits will continue to be offered in addition to the new ones that were announced now).

I am a retired 4mm LT Plat. I have received a Choice Benefit every year. Who knows what will happen with the changes
