2 Million Miler Gift Choices

What are the current 2 million miler gift choices currently being offered.

I will cross this threshhold on a JFK/GRU segment (DL227) in about a month.

I didn't get squat for 1MM. They had just devalued the gifts so I held out hoping for better. Then they brought it back, and now I'm not eligible. DL wins again.

I emailed them at [email protected] and told them I made MM in June 2019, right as they were changing the gifts and removing things like the Tumi, etc. So I never chose a gift, and then they got rid of it completely in 2020. Anyway they replied and said go login and pick a gift. I could choose from a red wine set with etched "Million Miler" logo wine glasses and a nice bottle of wine, a plaque with all of Delta's logos and my name engraved in a placard on the bottom of it, or a black backpack that looked pretty lame but is apparently selling for $500. Email them.

Here's the reply:

Congratulations on your 1 Million Miler achievement! We appreciate your continued loyalty.

We understand that the former Million Miler Gift Program was discontinued due to COVID-19, and as a result, your original gift selection was indefinitely paused. We thank you for your tremendous patience and understanding during this time, as we revamped our gift menu and rebuilt the Million Miler program offering.

Our brand new Million Miler Gift Site launched last week, featuring premium gifts designed exclusively for Delta Million Milers. In recognition of your patience, your loyalty, and the previous gift selection we offered you, we are inviting you to select an exclusive Million Miler gift of your choice from our new menu:

https://www.deltamillionmiler.com/

Your gift selection window will close on December 31, 2022. Please make your selection before this date.

Thank you for your loyalty, and we commend your exceptional Million Miler achievement.

I hit 1MM in 2021 so can't test this out ("Account not eligible" ), but someone else should and report back...
I hit it in 2019 and then they shut it down in 2020, so I emailed them at [email protected] and asked if I could participate too, and they said yes!

There's an existing thread that covers this topic. In fact it's up on the front page right now -- New Million Miler Gifts (For 2022 Qualification)
See the very first post --

"I crossed over 2mm a couple days ago, and got the gift offers. Seems to be about $120 in 2 bottles of wine, $650 in an overnight bag, or $1200 in a gift certificate. Answer seems obvious to me, but I could not figure out whether I had to use the whole $1200 on one reservation, or if there are some other down sides to the gift certificate. Any advice?"

This is exactly my situation. Really sucks that people who crossed the threshold in 2021 are just screwed!

Got an early-September e-mail that said "Watch your [postal] mailbox for additional gifts," but nada. Tried the new site, got "not eligible." I'll try to get the site opened.

This is what I got in late 2020 .....
Welcome to 3 Million Miler Status. You've earned it!
Congratulations on reaching Three Million MilerTM Status and being part of our most elite group of flyers. In recognition of your Million Miler achievement, we'll be sending you new bag tags that should be arriving in the next few weeks.

We are grateful for your continued loyalty to Delta, and, as a sign of our appreciation, you will continue to enjoy complimentary Gold Medallion® Status each year.

While we are also happy to offer you a choice of a premium gift, we have temporarily suspended the ability to select that gift. We know this is an important milestone and we are sorry you won’t get your gift right away, but we will contact you directly when it’s time to make your selection.

Congratulations again on this impressive achievement and thank you for your business.

2 years later I was given a $500 cert. Whatever.... Thanks for NOTHING!

Plastic Toy Plane or $1,250?

Tough decision here: do I go for the plastic toy plane or the $1,250? (I’ve already ruled out the wine because I made the mistake of drinking “wine” once in Delta One, and the leather strap on the Hartman luggage Delta gave me one time broke, and Harman was uninterested in honoring their “lifetime warranty” 🙄 )

Definitely depends on the scale. Lifesize? Go for the toy plane.
