Wow, no bids yet! Get yours in by 9:30 P.M. Saturday.
Million-miler tags are listed as "rare" for $400.

WOW is right! I was cleaning out a drawer last week and found 2 sets of Platinum tags, 3 sets of Diamond Medallion tags, and 2 DM with the 1MM on the front, I think one set is metal as well. Hmmm. I should hit 2mm before the end of the year, so I'll see if I get a new set of just the million-miler tags, I have the 1 mm red ones but lost one of those and use the other one.

Just hit 2mm and got the choice of selections shown in the pictures above, with an added option of a leather Royce Overnight Bag. It took me about 10 seconds to decide on the $1250 gift certificate, which was delivered immediately by email and never expires. Considering I got a Hartmann spinner bag for 1mm this was quite an upgrade. Incidentally, I live in Europe (and DL knows this), but was offered the full range of gifts.

It's a nice swansong now that the recent enhancements will probably lead me to free agency -- I take lots of TATL flights in Main (C+), PE or Z-bucket D1, but definitely won't have the spend to requalify as DM (I've been one every year since introduction but relied on the foreign MQM waiver since that was introduced). PM would be reachable with a big stretch but I've decided I'm better off relying on my new Gold baseline, directing my CC spend to my Chase Sapphire or cashback cards. My wife and kids (currently all PM, thanks in part to C19 rollovers) will probably switch to Flying Blue and should be able to make Gold there, whereas on DL they won't do better than Silver. (DL's models presuppose liberal CC spending but ignore how that's a non-starter for the dependents of the primary cardholder.)

I was ever so slightly miffed that after reading about others who got a bit of in-flight recognition on their MM-surpassing flights, I got nada on my TATL, even though I was the only one to board during the DM boarding phase and the purser thanked two persons within my earshot in C+ for their loyalty to DL. For a moment I thought this was DL's way of saying hasta la vista (since I'm the sort of flyer they don't want to keep as a DM/PM) but the $1250 cert softens the blow and will keep me flying DL a little longer. (And yeah, I know, first world problems....)

Congratulations - glad you hit it before the future world!
I hit 1MM in the merger so no recognition (although I got offered the MM gift twice). Hit 2MM flying on Vietnam airlines so no recognition then either. I took the Hartmann roller at 1MM and the Tumi roller at 2MM. Wish the GCs were options back then.

I hit 2MM the middle of last month, August 2023, on my inbound TATL flight to ATL. When I boarded D1 in MAD, I told one of the D1 FA's to make sure there was a chilled bottle of champagne when we crossed over US mainland as that was my projected crossing to 2MM (mater of fact it was an interesting route as the plane crossed over SC near Charleston, SC). I was served champagne with the pre arrival meal and when the flight arrived safely in ATL at our gate, the FA made an onboard announcement to everyone that this was my 2MM flight. The lady sitting in back of me commented that she didn't know she was traveling with a celebrity on the flight, which made me blush. The B17 SkyClub iPad app was down to purchase a bottle of champagne using SkyMiles, as I spoke with a manager and he comped me a bottle of champagne (I have over 2 million SkyMiles, as purchasing bottle of champagne is 1.5 cpm). As I was finishing up the bottle with my signifiant other, my name was paged overhead in the SkyClub to come to the front desk and I was told that my flight to CHS was boarding. I figured something was up, as when I arrived to my gate, I went to the Sky Priority lane, as there was a redcoat waiting for me who gave me a wink and had 2 balloons, a "2" and a "M". The captain for my flight posed for a picture with me and one of the gate agents behind the gate desk, and the DL redcoat give me a piece of paper (81/2 x 11) with a Delta jet with "2 Million Miler Milestone Dr Milano". The redcoat also made an announcement to the remaining passengers waiting to board about my 2 MM milestone flights.. I was returning home from vacation in Ibiza, it was perfect how all the stars aligned, as it was job well done by Delta and why with the recent program changes I'm not bothered by them-- as I'm a giver and not a taker, and quite frankly wasn't expecting all of the recognization.

Hit 2MM in the middle of Covid a couple years ago - zero fanfare and the gifts were nothing special then... think they sent me a $300 gift card.

I have a bunch of old DM bag tags throughout the years in the program including a DM tag with 1MM on it, maybe I should sell them on Ebay. Am almost at 2 1/4 M but won't be hitting 3 or even trying with the program changes and zero ticket class or spend bonuses towards MM.

Smile 4MM - What would you pick?

I finally hit the 4 Million Mile mark last month with Delta. While a huge accomplishment for me over 30 years, other than the email "from Ed" thanking me and giving me access to the gifts page, it has gone unnoticed at the airport(s) other than check in and at the Sky club. Another benefit we asked for.... So, I have the choices below and was wondering what people thought I should select. I am leaning towards the $1750 gift card as the other trinkets just don't interest me.

A new airline...but then that would defeat the purpose of choosing the only thing of value there, the gift card.

BINGO. I just hit 2 million and picked the gift card. Took a biz class trip to Peru on it. Good times.

I'd do the A350. Where else can you get one with your name on it? Someone who has flown 4 million miles doesn't need a measly $1,750 gift card.

The Delta World map is a new one, haven't seen that one before.

Why would someone want to be reminded of Delta with recent 'enhancement' program changes by selecting the A350? Maybe if it was a Air France 777-300 to remind me the outstanding La Premire onboard experience-- but D1 on a A350?

Go with the Gift card.
