Can Delta use one of the CRPain's to hop me from LGA to JFK. I'm confident with no air traffic delays it be faster then driving between the two.

Airlines aren't planning for a travel recession next year...

Most interesting to me are the LAX additions. Delta is fighting for the market there

Nonstops from LA to Europe. Can't believe it.

Anyone know what the aircraft will be? The article mentions both A330 and 767-400.

Actually, it is A330-900neo.

Last time they tried LAX-LHR in the past and it did not work out so well. Due to low demand.

I'm wondering if they're going to ax SEA-LHR if they're adding LAX-LHR.

If Delta and VS are, then they need to lower their airfares LAX-LHR. I booked a trip this morning on that route in Business Class and DL/VS was $13K while AA/UA were ~$8.5K.... Needless to say, my travel compliance system did not allow the preferred carrier on DL/VS but instead forced me onto AA. Annoyed but understanding.

Right - the best part of an LAX-LHR route is that it adds capacity and competition and it'll hopefully force down prices and open up some seats on AA and UA on that route.

Given DL's typical trans-Atlantic pricing, I doubt I'll ever take that flight on DL, but just the fact that they have it should be good for consumers.

Bummer. Still no nonstop flight BOS-BSL or ATL-BSL.

Come on Delta! Please give me a nice nonstop flight to Basel.

Please no JFK!

Why doesn't Delta open some exciting routes like JFK-KRK or BOS-KRK?

They're running SEA/LHR right now as a VS 789 and a DL 76W / A333. The VS flight is daily right now and the DL flight is 5x (I believe). The DL flight addition to LHR from SEA in add'n to the VS metal is new in 2022, I hope they keep it as it's nice to have options for instruments. Not sure what you mean by "axe" though- the DL flight or all of SEA/LHR (which I don't see happening).

I personally like the timing of SEA-LHR on DL (7:30 PM means that you can fly to Europe right after work, for example, and I prefer DL over BA) but it's filed for less than 5x weekly (I think 2x) during the winter, which makes me think that DL is struggling to make the route work. It is filed for an A339 for next summer right now though. I guess we'll know for sure when DL loads the schedule tonight. I wish there were more nonstops to Europe from the West Coast on Delta metal.
