Sweet Gesture
I'm DL Diamond and Million Miler. Flew MSP-PVR last week via LAX. Before arrival FA delivered this message to me from the captain.

Yeah they have been doing this pretty regularly for the last 5-6 years. Seems to just depend on crew.

I had a card waiting for me on my seat a few weeks ago from BOG-ATL signed by the whole crew thanking me for being a 1 MM. I know it's a small gesture, and I've been on a zillion DL flights, but I'll readily admit that it makes me smile on the rare occasion I get a card.

This seems to be SOP at SJC in F. Ever since I relocated here in early 2021, I've seen them on every flight I've been on. Even comes with a bonus Ghiradelli square taped to it.

That's like 234K miles. Even RT, you'd need to go twice and then some.

The hard product is unique, but the service sucks, food awful, the "pajamas" quite stifling, and don't ask what I discovered looking for the lavatory on that route.

Anyone else finds the line “but you mean a lot to me as well” kinda flirtatious… even creepy? LOL. I don’t think I could sleep on this flight.

Agreed. But the phrasing “you mean a lot to me” sounds different than “I also value your business.” :-)

No need to wait for DL to "launch" this route. Fly with Space-X and put it on you DL Amex will do the trick.
