Credit for AF flights

Hi Im a newbie to Delta. I was wondering how long it typically takes to get credit for an AF flight. It was over two weeks ago. Ive submitted a missing mileage request a few days ago and have heard nothing. Maybe Im better off in the AF/KLM program? Thanks.

Usually it takes a few days for a program to get credit from a flight from another Skyteam partner. I have Flying Blue and whenever I fly with KL/AF I get credit for XP and miles immediately after my flight but it takes a week for flights with DL/other skyteam partners to get credit. I still haven't gotten credit for my WestJet flight and it's been three weeks

If you fly a lot of international segments and you want status a bit easier, I would say FB is better compared to DL. However, it truly depends on what you want from a Skyteam program and your flying schedule.

I was wondering what’s up too. My parents and I just did YYZ-AMS-JNB-CDG-YYZ on KLM and AF all on the same ticket/PNR, my mom and I’s miles posted 3 days after YYZ-AMS-JNB and posted 1 day after for JNB-CDG-YYZ. None of my dad’s miles have posted yet even though he was passenger #1 on the reservation and like I said we were all on the same reservation. What’s going on?

Just called Delta about this as his miles still havent credited. When giving the agent the ticket numbers I realized that somebody completely screwed up our tickets, my dad and I have the same name but the ticket number credited to my account was my dads ticket number even though on the ticket itself and boarding pass his SkyMiles # is attached to it and mine is nowhere to be seen accept on mine. Agent had to send it in to be redeposited but Im not sure what allowed this to happen. Last I checked they credit it to the SkyMiles # on the ticket, should cancel out for anyone with the same name on the reservation. What a mess.

IME it is really hit and miss. I had an intra EU RT on AF/KL in April. The outbound posted in about 5 days. The return didnt post after two weeks and sent in a mileage request to DL. 60+ days later Im still waiting to hear back - very frustrating, but eventually it should/will be resolved.

In my case its only 1000 MQM and a handful of MQD, so not mission critical for status earning, but if it is a big chunk of miles and dollars, calling is the best way to get quicker resolve.

Thats also annoying but at least its an insignificant amount. The itinerary we flew got $7400 MQD though which is pretty crucial here.

Credit for Partner Airline Flights

Im new to Deltas FFP. Ive recently flown AF and KLM on separate trips and have yet to receive credit despite going through the hassle of claiming missing credit online. Is this par for the course on the DL program? If so, I think Ill switch to Flying Blue. Thanks.

It appears to happen more often than is reasonable. There is definitely a hassle factor.

I have not had issues with getting DL credit for AF/KL flights, but I've been careful to avoid booking flights while logged into a Flying Blue account (due to various reports of flights getting credited to FB accounts unintentionally).
