Even BREEZE AIRLINE just added Crown Royal!! A Canadian is very different from a Bourbon.
The absence of a Scotch is rather unbelievable IMO. It had been reasonably popular prior to the pandemic.

PDB on a 189 mile flight tonight. If there is a 900 mile floor for PDB, flight attendants dont know about it.

I got nothing on MCO-ATL-LAS. Just another data point. And imo with Sara Nelson knocking on the door, Delta isn't going to make these flight attendants do anything they don't want to.

I have been around long enough to remember when the on-board scotch was Glenmorangie. Which many of the ATL-based FAs pronounced glen-more-RAAANG-gee. But, it still tasted good.

How standards have slipped. <sigh>

I dunno about that. Alaska pilots are damned good at it.

This is correct. Just got PDBs on SFO-SLC (way less than 900) and SLC-JFK. Feels like 2019!

And my regular ATL-CLT. I don't know why distance has anything to do with being able to provide a drink on the ground....

Seems to now be corrected in the diversity touting press release "Domestic First Class welcome beverages are served on all flights and meals are served on flights 900 miles and greater."

They should add an addendum unless you're on a sad box route..

LOL not a rant just a wish. As a chocolate lover, I often despair when I consider my snack choices. 😋

Flew from AGS to ATL on a regional last week and had a PDB.
Flew from ATL to JFK same day also with PDB and snacks.

Return flights this week also with PDB and was shocked when very sweet older FA on regional offered me 2nd drink for in flight of 35 min flight. Sadly the gin is rotgut.

I tried the Tip Top old fashioned today. When the FA asked how I liked it, I hesitated until finally coming up with "I think I'll stick with just bourbon (instead) in future." He replied that personally he feels their margarita is a better choice.
