Yep. I find Connection crews to be more enthusiastic than mainline when it comes to service these days.

Are they in a union or different union than mainline? I wonder why they’re so happy because I totally agree

Mainline DL FAs are NOT unionized, although pilots are.

I thought that Delta Connection (not Delta Express) carriers (i.e. Republic, Endeavor, SkyWest and the others who previously imploded) were NOT unionized.

On SLC-SAT right now and there was PDB. First time I’ve seen it in a very long time. Didn’t happen on first leg SJC-SLC. Maybe just an anomaly or slowly working its way back now that mask mandate is gone?

Lax-Bos PDB was not offered, but I asked and it was not a problem.

I could understand when the mask mandate was in effect that it was faux pax for the passengers in F to have masks down drinking while everyone else passes by them to board, but with the mask mandate no longer in effect, I’m not sure there is much reason not to.

No PDB on my flight, but OO FA proactivity mentioned that she received an email that PDBs will be returning shortly and she was very excited to tell everyone, but she did not see a specific date in the email.

Any updates on Delta consistently offering pdbs in domestic F? Delta always used to be so consistent with this perk!

Very inconsistent at best. I would say under 50% in my small sample.

Less than 10% on my sample of like 12 segments since February. I had one PDB offering on a regional carrier flight, that is it.

I suspect the PDB on Delta is largely a thing of the past. The flight attendants are used to the covid lifestyle and will threaten voting in a union if asked to provide better service. Management will enjoy the cost savings of less alcohol and beverages being poured.

OO flight attendants received an email ~two weeks ago that PDB is returning. Since then I have had two segments in F and received a PDB on the most recent segment.
