Certainly NOT a big deal….. last flight Lga-Dca, the first of four rows received a beverage other than the small water bottle left at seats.

DL234 JFK-TLV 27/08 (well, ended up being 28…), I boarded later in the process and not right at the beginning when D1 was called, so I don’t know exactly what happened during the bulk of D1 boarding, but as I was on my way to my seatuite I did see an FA with a tray of orange juice and wine. Wasn’t there by the time I stowed my carryon and got settled in, and I didn’t particularly care so I didn’t actively ask for anything, but it would seem that that was something that was happening.

FA also served drinks during meal service by giving the glass, a soda can, and the liquor "bottle". Which I personally prefer, but I know some people would be annoyed by.

Last week I was only 2/5 on receiving pdbs.
FA’s aren’t permitted serve drinks while in the penalty box unless they reach the DOT threshold where it’s required to offer water and snacks.

In 2023, DL JFK-CUN, CUN-JFK and SEA-JFK is 0 for 3. 2 of the three we left on time. On CUN-JFK the F FA opted to speak to the entire cabin all at once rather than individually.

Meanwhile on VS LHR-JFK and return x2 and LHR-SEA every flight has a PDB.

I'm not doing very well with DL.

Went 3/4 for PDBs this past week:
8/25 BOS-SFO - Full PDB, excellent BOS-based crew
8/27 SLC-BOS - No PDB, but the FAs were delayed on the inbound and we started boarding 10 min after they showed up, so might be excusable
8/29 BOS-EWR (Republic) - Full PDB
8/30 LGA-BOS - Full PDB, BOS-based crew

Still under 0.500 for the year though...

MSP to SFO .. I got to gate late and was with middle of main cabin boarding, still got white wine when I was seated... Flight attendants were very attentive and worked well (holding boarding line so FA can take/serve) and then let line flow again.
PDB avg is still hovering around 90% on all Delta flights.

VS LHR - ATL sparkling wine, some cocktail with raspberries, OJ

DL ATL - TUL late flight, CRJ, full PDB. FA was very ambitious as far as how much white wine she believed I could consume prior to takeoff.

The cocktail in question was the Ruby Sipper, my go to on Virgin

ATL-LAX A350 flight this past week the crew did PDBs. Granted we were delayed departing by almost an hour, but they were doing them prior to that delay.

Two minutes from departure on dl5425 dtw to jfk. Not o ly was there no PDB event thought the flight boarded on time and the fa has been in the galley standing around during most of boarding but no bottled water at the seats. A passenger asked for a coffee and she said it wouldn’t be available until we were airborne and wasn’t pleased when he asked for a bottled water. I asked for a bottled water and she wasn’t happy (even though I walked to the galley). I filled my travel mug from the skyclub with coffee so didn’t matter to me but I dint think it’s out of line walking to the galley and asking for a bottled water. Especially when the fa is standing around.

Perfect weather. Entire plane boarded well before pushback. All FAs on board. No PDB ATL-PIT this morning. At least we had a bottle of water at the seat.

This has happened too often since this spring. Just makes the desire to consider themselves a 'Premium' experience worth shelling out even more for even that much more frustrating.
