1) It isn't a screwdriver if it is made with rum; and
2) Tea, if not full of sugar, is probably much healthier than 100 calories for a short pour of manipulated OJ.

Accordingly, twisted morning tea is probably better for one than a Cuban Screw.

And back to the OP, during PDB service last week ex SCL, I don't know how it happened, but two glasses full of bubbles broke while the FA was serving same, and she cut her hand pretty badly. I heard the incident, and then saw part of the galley scene with her crewmates making sure all the glass came out of her hand.

orange juice and cola are equally unhealthy, they're both just liquid diabetes. The "health" benefits of OJ are basically all marketing smoke and mirrors.

Or never. As I understand it, plastic never actually goes away; it just gets smaller and smaller in pieces until it's microplastic and is ingested by small organisms, killing them because they think it's food, and then destroying the food chain from the bottom up.

So, yeah, plant-based utensils better. Although we've probably already destroyed the planet 50,000 years from now with the current orgy of plastics.

Agree and also Baileys. Love coffee and Bailey's for a morning PDB or a double bailey's on the rocks as a PDB on a redeye since it helps knock me out so I can sleep.

I'd be happy if they just brought Findlandia instead of that DuNord garbage. Or at least bring back Fresca as a mixer, might make that garbage drinkable.

Yeah, orange juice isn't actually "orange" juice. It's basically Hawaiian punch with the flavor and color of oranges.

DL2621, SEA-BOS, 5 Jun (75S N721TW) FA offered sparkling wine or orange juice in plastic cups, or cans of Miller Lite; she was pleased to say Yes when the woman across the aisle from me asked if she could mix them to make a mimosa, so I opted for the same mix turned out to be self-service with a cup of each

It's back. I've had it on several flights this year, with the exception of a DL Connection flight last week where the FA tried to pass Diet Coke off as Coke Zero.

Not sure which thread it was (since there were a bunch started) but I thought I saw someone say they had Baileys as their PDB on 6/2. Yes, bringing back Finlandia would be great - even Skyy would be better than DuNord. Finlandia made a great screwdriver - almost gave it a little vanilla flavor - the DuNord stuff is like gasoline.

Seems like the first priority should be actually serving meals where they promise to....PDBs in glass cups isn't even hitting the top 10!

Surprise PDB on 30 min flight from HSV to ATL today; it was in plastic but it is certainly a step in the right direction considering the fares these days.

I had a fantastic flight SLC-DFW this am - PDBs offered during boarding and textbook perfect Delta service from the SLC based crew. No Bailey's for the coffee but overall today reminded me of just how much better Delta is that American Airlines.

That is always my choice for my PDB and in-flight mornings. Others swear by Bloody's but there are too many vitamins in tomato juice for my taste in the morrnings.
