Mechanical Delay
 

We had a 4 hour mechanical delay at LAS in March that I was hoping to get some compensation for

I emailed Delta twice and only received the we have received your message reply, is there a Delta rep on this page that might be able to assist me ?

I don't know why but I get replies within 15 minutes to 24 hors when I email delta. I am platnium but even when Silver I;d get my replies fast. maybe because of where I live in the Dominican Republic but I do have a friend based in NY who hasn't gotten a reply to a complaint from over a year ago.


I had a 8 hour delay on April 6th SDQ JFK emailed the 7th got a reply the 8th.

I use the online compliment complaint form.

Same here, instant we received your message reply and the message said it could be 30 days or longer until they reply but given we are at day 40 or so I figured I would try to speed things up..

Must be the "how valuable am I to Delta" matrix

Can you let me know what they gave you for an 8 hour delay so assuming they do get back to me I have an idea of what we may get, thanks

Nope.

I didn't request compensation i was given at the airport a voucher, I had emailed to give a compliment.

Maybe that's why they responded so fast, lol

I have been given $200 for similar delay times/reason by DL in the past but never had to wait over a month to speak with a person........different times so I'll just let it ride out and see what happens, thanks

Once I complained about being delayed 4 hours and missing a tax and they replied the next day as well twice, owith the same canned responce but in one was 20,000 miles the other 13,000.
