I'd love to see grab and go. They should definitely give D1 passengers a higher priority.
I'd also like to see airport food vouchers if you are d1 International. I'd rather eat at even a place like PF changs or SORA before an international flight, would be better food and would ease up on crowding in the SC.

The solution to this problem is more/larger lounges. If you sell more access (memberships and credit cards) you need more capacity.
Grab and go would be great. I saw a grab-and-go junk food table at SEA last week. It was right before the check-in desk as we were leaving the lounge. During COVID SkyClubs have done pre-packaged wraps and sandwiches, a few of those would be great.

Waited about 15 minutes in line yesterday to get in at LAX but once I was in, I had no problem finding a seat. Unfortunately, these long lines are a perfect opportunity to the DYKWIA types who failed kindergarten to cut the line and barge their way in. There was one agent at the sliding doors with the mobile scanner checking people in and everyone with questions or issues to resolve had to wait to see one of the agents at the desk. The agent at the door was doing her best trying to be firm and sending people to the back of the line but that didn't stop at least two people from berating her until she gave in and helped them ahead of everyone in line.

What days of the week are y’all getting these issues? I haven’t had any except Centurion lounges when they were doing 50% capacity.
Also if I was denied entry because I was an Amex platinum, I would drop the card so fast. No way that’s real.

Eliminating guesting entirely would impact the value proposition of the cards too much, and Delta/Amex rely heavily on those card sign ups / spend.
I do think all airline clubs should invest in grab and go. If people could walk into a club and grab a bottle of water/soda, quality sandwich, etc to bring aboard, many would choose to spend a lot less time in the club (they would get to the club for a few minutes before boarding rather than getting there an hour before and having snacks, drinks, etc).

When the JFK T4 SkyClub first opened they used to give D1 passengers a card upon entry and that card got you a wait-staff served meal. They had dining area in front of the bar area. This didn't last long, but it had a menu that you could order off of and it was free for D1 passengers. Unfortunately this lounge quickly turned into a free for all.

Haven't seen AmEx cardholders turned away at the Skyclub but have seen Delta Reserve holders been given lower priority at the Centruion Lounge at LAS which ticks me off.

Well I'll be in ATL tomorrow evening, so should be interesting to see how busy the clubs are. Not sure which one I'll try to get in... most likely wherever my connection departs from - which appears to be mostly from C over the past week, but who knows.

Seems to be a regular occurance at B ATL, FLL, ORD and MCO and I had it happen at MSP last month (fortunately it was only a 10 minute wait even though it was a long line), not a denial but long wait.

Monday early afternoon was a wreck there a couple weeks ago.

Guesting is already quite restricted. The following people get free guests:
- Executive Members (including DMs that spent two choice benefits for an executive membership) (2 guests)
- DMs that spent one choice benefit for a credit card guest pass (2 guests)
- SkyTeam Elite+ traveling internationally (1 guest), and this is SkyTeam policy so it seems unlikely to change.
Folks getting access another way can pay $39/guest for up to two additional guests.
The guest passes on the Reserve were added recently, I'd guess in response to customer feedback that some folks want to take their spouse/family members with them. I'm not sure what you could cut that would make a huge difference.
Build more lounges. Open pop-up Sky Clubs. Try grab-and-go like some other airlines. Airport space is tough to get, but given the revenue that airlines seem to make from lounge credit cards, they should be able to do something.

Might not be popular, but think when it gets busy they need to have a check-in line for people who actually pay for memberships (or chose it as a choice benefit) & D1 guests and those who are using their AMEX to gain access. The former should get priority.
