E-Credits for Multiple Passengers on Same Ticket

Haven't tried this before but is it possible to use e-credits from multiple passengers to book a new reservation for these passengers on the same reservation?

I.e. I booked a ticket for me and my spouse on the same reservation (same PNR). Trip was canceled. The e-credit for my ticket is in my DL wallet. The e-credit for my spouse is in her DL wallet. Obviously when I login to DL.com, I can only see/access my e-credits. My question is: Can I book a new reservation where we will both be on the same reservation (PNR) using my e-credit towards my ticket cost and her e-credit towards her ticket cost and is that possible to do online without calling? Can I add her e-credit during the check-out process by pulling he 006XXXXXXXXXX. number? Or is this something I would have to call in and have an agent do by providing the e-credit info for my spouse to have the e-credit applied that way towards her airfare to then get us on the same reservation?

When you go to apply the credit during checkout, it will give you the option to search for eCredits for all passengers on your reservation. DL will pull up anything valid based on their name/FF #

It should pull up your spouse's eCredit as a result when you go to check out although DL IT being DL IT, it doesn't always work and sometimes you have to call

Thanks. Hopefully it works and hopefully I can avoid calling once the time comes to do this, but of course as you note, DL IT is well, DL IT.

yeah, I called in to make a change to our recent SAN-SEA flight after an earlier change generated e-credits for both of us, and the PM line agent was able to apply the credit from Mrs767's account to her new ticket and some from my account to mine (didn't try on line)

Note that the thread title should say "Same Reservation (PNR)" NOT "Same Ticket." AFAIK two passengers can never be on the same ticket, with the possible exception of a free lap infant added to an adult ticket.

The terminology in the post seems correct.

No Problem at all.

Just make a copy of all of the e-credits so that you know the numbers. Login to your delta account and when you have started the booking process make sure that you use the option to pay with e-credits.
I believe you are only allowed to uses five e-credits per booking. If the amount of your e-credits is less than quoted price of the booking you will receive another e.credit (depends whose e-credit had a balance. if it is more you can pay the difference with your credit card.
It`s very simple to do . I have done it numerous times as I have had lots of e-credits because of the flights that I have had to cancel. As I was sure that i would be traveling I opted to receive e-credits

No issue. It'll apply the ecredit to the new ticket for each passenger. Each passenger has their own ticket. Whatever value of ecredit in their name will come off that person's ticket. This means if tickets cost say $200 per passenger, and you have $150 ecredit for each passenger, plus a 2nd $100 ecredit for just one of the passengers, one passenger would be paid in full, the other would need to pay $50. (The remaining $50 ecredit for the one passenger can only be applied to a ticket in their name, it couldn't be used to cover the remaining $50 for other passenger)

Since it appears answered, may I interject a question about why? I have been booking my wife and I on separate PNR when using ecredits but aren't sure if I should be calling to do the same as OP for any particular reason?

No reason to call. This can all be done online. I

On one PNR elite upgrades work different for companions. Also on one PNR (not simply linked) IRROPS will result in both being rebooked on same flight. (You'll need to ask to go on different flights)

Just did this last week for a number of reservations. I had a bunch of E-Credits for my parents, wife, kids & siblings from a family vacation we were supposed to have taken in 2020. We are finally re-scheduling the vacation for this summer & I managed to book everything online using the credits on the same PNRs. Didn't have a problem on a single reservation.
