Delta360 v AA Concierge Key

Curious if any of our friends here on the forum that are current DL360 members are also AA Concierge Key members or were recently? Would be very interested to hear honest thoughts on each programs strengths and weaknesses.

It feels like AA CK is superior, but would be curious to hear first hand experiences.

I cannot comment regarding 360 but I am Ck and Global services. I received GS through a corp contract early this year.

CK has been great so far. The CK agents are phenomenal and have been very helpful at the airports who have them. No more then a 1-2 minute hold time on the phone. They answered my email within 10 minutes. The use of flagship check-in and flagship lounges no matter what level you’re flying. Most of the time I get a thank you for being CK. I have not connected yet, so I haven’t needed a car transfer. When checking into the admirals club at MIA , the girl stood up and said thank you for being CK. It’s been little things like that l. They escort you everywhere as well

I have heard some great stories about rerouting ect. I couldn’t imagine not having it now. They have also been good about calling CK to board and giving it a minute until they call the next group. Mia / jfk / and lax at least.

Regarding GS, it’s been ok so far. I just got it. The only thing I noticed is they asked what I wanted to eat first and it helps with united boarding process. Again I got this because I negotiated a decent business contract with united. AA I did a lot of spend and travel.

I never had 360. I’ve been diamond for a while as delta was my main airline. Once I relocated mostly to south Florida , it’s hard not using AA.

I look forward to hearing from 360s. Wasn’t sure if it was ever “ worth going for “ so I always stopped once I hit diamond.

A quick little CK story -CK has been amazing. I normally flew delta regionally out of lax but this time I used AA. I was in T4 and thought I had to go to T5. I didn’t realize it was a remote area outside of 5. I’m leaving the FSL in 4 and ask the gate agent is it a quick walk. She looks at me and says when do you board. It was in 5 minutes. They call the gate , let them know I’m coming. She escorts me to the bus and then goes with me to make sure I get on the plane ok. I was pretty amazed.

I have never been either, but I can related a story about a CK who had a condo down the hall from us. He was doing TATL a bunch for the Green family when they were acquiring some sketchy stuff for the museum of the Bible. He was flying to the middle east to vet stuff (not well apparently), and his plane to LHR was late. The CK agent met him at the door with 5 boarding passes, and asked him which flight he wanted to take to IST. Even he was amazed.

Do you work for United or benefit financially somehow from them. Genuinely just curious based on your handle/username.

CK

Another good word for CK. It’s truly excellent and takes so much stress out of the process. — especially with kids. From check in to jumping security lines to being driven to gates in suburbs because it’s a “far walk with kids.” Of course on business they proactively protect you on flights and generally have your back. Best of all, you can buy very cheap BE fares, have Flagship check in, lounges, upgrades and full CK treatment.

interesting point re: BE fares. I can’t even imagine AA extending invitations to customers who buy BE fares. Seems like the opposite customer profile AA extends CK invitations to.

Just because when using OPM you spend $$$$ flying, doesn't mean same true when it your own money.

This is true. Perhaps the poster doesn't even fly, but heads a major travel department for a large company and owns choosing their air carrier, so being savvy part of their negotiation is throwing in an extra CK membership for themself. Smart and nice perk if so.

But the investment divided along may be worth it to some. AA miles being so much more valuable than DLs crap miles its almost 10:1 in some examples.
