JFK-EDI/KEF (D1 cabin is marketed as FC on JFK-KEF). BOS-EDI. ATL-DUB/ATH before June 16th.

Yep. Although it goes PS on July 11th.

Did Delta change their mind on Premium Select?

As recently as 3 months ago, Delta said that they will have Premium Select on ALL European flights (https://upgradedpoints.com/news/delt...opean-flights/), but 2 weeks ago, our late-May flight from ATL-BCN was changed from a 767 with Premium Select to an A330-300 that does NOT have it.

Did Delta go back/change their mind?

Technically, late May is not "summer" :) The route gets PS equipment starting June 16th. There are a handful of routes that will not have PS -- https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delt...tl-routes.html

Probably a few 330-300's that have not completed mods. It appears they will have it in early July on that route.

IIRC MSP-KEF had been marketed as PS, but I don't know whether the flight is coming back this summer.

Yes, it returns on May 26th. Technically, it does have PS. But that's because it's a domestic 757 where the FC cabin is marketed as PS and there are no D1/FC fares available for the flight.

In December, I booked JFK/EDI in premium economy for travel the first week of October on a 767-300; it was downguaged to a 767-300 with no premium select and I was moved to comfort plus (which as a Diamond I could have purchased in economy). Delta refunded my tickets. Will wait and see if they upgrade the equipment again, but I may end up flying AA/BA in Biz (JFK/LHR/EDI) for $2100 (Delta One is $6,600 or 385k miles!).

ATL-ATH was not available for my April departure, but I would hesitate to move from the JFK connection since DL shut down my ATL-ATH tickets slated for 11/21.

What a shocker....Delta 3X the cost for D1? Just feel lucky that you have options out of JFK. ATL may be the worst airport in the world to be held captive at for personal travel.

DL option is non-stop while AA/BA require a connection. They are likely holding off on releasing inventory in lower fare buckets right now to see how much demand materializes. They will probably open up inventory at a later point as they likely won't get many purchases in the higher fare classes. Z fares aren't real cheap, but they are a lot less than $6600 (around $3500 currently).

100%! See my post signature line... I REALLY wish Atlanta had more options. Delta kills us here with the monopoly.

I always laugh whenever I see the billboards around town that say "Atlanta's hometown airline"....Hometown airline that absolutely takes advantage of the hometown.

Again, great for work travel. Awful for personal travel.
