What online form? They'll give you the entry form to fill out onboard which you'll turn over to the immigration officer at Mexico City.

Port of entry is Mexico city, where you go through immigration.

You can fill out form online, instead of filing out paper form.

Some airlines don't even give put paper form any more.

POE is city you clear immigration at. MEX for you.

Return to US it depends on which city you arrive at. Most US POE have gone paperless. If paper is required (doubtful) they'll have them at POE.

Interesting. AM still always hands out the paper form, at least on my flights with them.

Flew DL to Cancun last week and they also handed out forms.

I thought the online portion was a Covid questionnaire, which we filled out, but no one ever asked for.

IME, every time I've filled out the online form and hand over a paper copy, the immigration officer tells me to fill out one in person and get back in line...so now I just fill it out on the plane.

No more Covid questionnaire needed as well based on my last trip to MEX.

I believe you still print it out after submitting. This way they can stamp it.

Yup, have done that (since that's your proof of legal presence in Mexico), still had to fill out a new one

Port of entry can depend on the airport you are flying into. So when we fly to PVR, the port of entry for the area is actually Guadalajara. It was was really confusing the first time. The online form does have to be printed and we always do it in advance as we have been on flights without the cards. You should do the customs one in advance as well, That one can only be done 3 days in advance.
