I'm probably a no for this. I would love to, but I get back from Greece on 2/1, and am thinking that may be packing too much into an already crazy few months.

Due to the events of the last couple of weeks, I've had to move a bunch of things around and now I have to be home for something on February 6th. This unfortunately means I will not be able to join in the festivities in New Orleans

On a marginally brighter note, AS extended their change waiver so I was able to push back one of my mileage runs to that Saturday, so it isn't a complete loss of a weekend.

Would it work for you to fly to New Orleans for only part of the festivities? Or are you afraid of getting stranded in a continuing or new DL meltdown?

I thought about trying to do it as a day trip, but I would have at the most a little over five hours in New Orleans proper.

I also recently learned that Squeak has a deep fear of crawfish

I feel this new thread is FT's way of helping us lose the 2021 COVID 15. And, I for one, don't like it. Blergh.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and good wishes.
We both feel pretty good but are still mildly symptomatic.
We tested this AM (Home tests) and we're both still Positive.

It appears that the CDC is going to get more conservative and require a Negative test to become free.

Baseline info - We both had 2 Pfizer shots in Jan 2021 and a Pfizer Booster on 8/24 (the first day for boosters). So we're now into month 5 of the booster and according to knowledgeable medical sources expect targeted boosters to be available within the next 30-60 days.

All four of us are boosted, so it wasn’t a major concern.

The menu at Saint John looks good, and we like the outdoor seating idea with the unpredictability of Omicron. Put me down for 6 please.
It looks like we'll be 12-14 for dinner and I'm in the process of firming the reservation up.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Count me in please. (BTW, this is Saturday, right? Will it be an early dinner because of the race?)

the way I read the original info, Saint John dinner is Friday evening -- the 767s are in for this

The 'Dinner' is Friday night. Saturday would interfere with mattp1987's race preparation. We're aiming for 8 PM to allow afternoon flight arrival attendees to not be concerned about delays. If you're planning on arriving on Friday, there's a nice direct flight, DL1721 MSP-MSY, 10:45 AM - 1:32 PM. It's like a high flying river cruise down the Mississippi but doesn't follow every twist and turn.

You are correct, as expected. I had counted you in - adjacent window and aisle seats

I just received a restocking shipment of masks to have available for anyone who needs them. They are Made in USA, 3M VFlex1804 and 1804S Surgical masks. I'm sure that Dr.P is familiar with them.

Done, even though it's more expensive than a nice connection I was considering with later times.
