Preorder meal

Flying AUS-SEA on July 6th, hope I get to preorder my food! If it comes should I expect it in an email or on the app?

The latest message was that preorder would be available domestically in July. Interested to see if this is coming soon or July 31.

SEA-ORD 7:15 am flight

Was unable to select meal or even preference in advance (vegan). Asked in lounge, they said this flight only has snacks even though it says ďbreakfastĒ when booking which was a bit surprising. Nevertheless was happy to see breakfast on board. Loved the coconut pudding. Other options were mushroom omelette and charcuterie plate (bowl).

7/3 1026 ABQ-ATL had PDB and glassware inflight. Unfortunately, had the sad box, as expected.

For the routes that still have sad boxes, is it that hard to just plate the contents? I know itís the same contents but it feels more premium when youíre in First instead of getting a catered Jimmy Johnís lunch box. American plates their cold sandwiches and stuff thatís practically the same thing that Delta is serving in sad boxes but the presentation is what makes it at least a little better.

I'd just start checking on the app at about a week out. I don't recall ever getting emails for recent flights, just noticed the ability to select meal when I checked my itin in the app.

If it was Jimmy Johnís I would be fine with it. That place is predictable if nothing special. Iíd much rather have their food made to order than a premade covered in mayo sad box.

About July 10th or 11th.

But you can choose a meal as late as the flight itself, so I wouldn't stress over it.

I'm flying YUL-DTW and can't find much info on whether anything is served during this 2-hour CRJ-900 flight. Would anyone know what I should expect?

The braised lamb JFK-SEA was actually quite good. I'd get it again.

Hey kaneporta,

I flew this specific flight segment approximately 1.5 months ago. My flight was on an Endeavor CRJ-700 (which was a CRJ-900 some days of the week) that departed just after midday.

In short, it's snack basket based on the flight mileage. The flight attendant did come by a couple of times.

I hope this helps.
