SEA-BOS Chia Pudding. Interestingly, no pre-ordering was available despite the menu being up on their website. My guess is that it was because it was on a A321neo that was just delivered 2 months ago.

I don't see why a/c type would impact pre-orders, especially on that route. If it were a route sometimes served by Delta Connection, then perhaps.

So, I had the pressed lamb shoulder (see menu posted 11/2, ATL-EZE).

I thought the meal good and tasty. The lamb portion was generous and very tender. The sauce on it looks like bbq, but it's not. It's sweet to cut the bitter of the greens. The slice of butternut squash (maybe acorn squash?) is OK, nothing special.

The "appetizer" is a few cheese cubes with dried fruit and a couple nuts (good, but small). The main, role, and salad all come together on a try. THe salad is very small.

The dessert sundae (premade) or a chocolate tart, which I had. I liked that the whipped cream was separate, but would have like more raspberry on the side. The meal was served and completed within a hour, so lots of time to sleep.

The wine I had was "Bistro" a cabernet. It was OK. Sadly, despite it being on the DL website, Macallen is not being loaded. Also, no port or desert wine loaded. Bailey's will have to do. No teas offered. No cheese instead of dessert either.

For b'fast there was a choice of chedder cheese fritta with rib hash or granola with greek yogurt. Both had a fruit bowl and bagel. I opted for the granola. I prefer a lighter breakfast, so perfect for me.

Compared to pre-covid Delta 1 dining, a bit of a let down. The service was good, the offerings just were not up to par.

Agree wholeheartedly. Recent Delta One (Atl-FCO) was such a disappointment in seat comfort, food, and that silly ... amenity kit.

I too enjoyed the pressed lamb shoulder, in my case the Macallan was loaded, cannot speak to desert wine, tea etc. as I did not request any.

I too enjoyed the granola with greek yogurt for the lighter nature of the offering.

While the presentation of the entire D1 meal was less than stellar, I actually thought that entrée itself was better than pre-COVID, but each person probably has different tastes.

I should clarify. My guess is that they didn’t integrate this fully into their system yet in terms of catering cause the plane was so new. But just a speculation since I’ve been receiving all other Pre order emails just fine.

Does Delta have a domestic first class alcoholic drinks list? I haven't been able to find one.

Sad Boxes.
Choices of chicken curry salad, power grain bowl or ham sandwich.

The ham sandwich wasn't bad.

Snack basket was just the same 4 snack choices the rest of the plane got.

Have to say I was very impressed with Chef Mashama Bailey's roasted chicken leg dish offered on ATL-LIR (a short 3.5hr non-premium route). It was better than many D1 meals I've had both domestically and internationally on much longer flights. Also, the smoked collard greens held up very well to inflight reheating.

Was it the Macallan or the Glenlivet? On my flight back from AMS, I managed to get the only bottle of Glenlivet that was on the plane. I miss the days when Glenmorangie was abundantly provided.

Anything would be an upgrade from the Dewers, which was all they had on my fight. I stayed with the wine.

They're really doubling down on these non-vegetarian egg dishes that don't have any meat in the menu description.
