Anyone know what they serve for lunch in FC MPS-LV, & LV-MPS? I'm flying the end of September, thanks.

Doesn’t this menu for Delta One for my upcoming LHR-ATL flight sound fairly pedestrian…almost (shudder to think..) like a coach meal?
any thoughts on why this menu is so basic?

Add to the fact that Canada has been having strikes going on at the flight kitchens (I think GG might still be on strike at YVR) due to short staffing issues and its not hard at all to see that Delta is probably struggling to find someone to do it. As I have posted what feels like 100 times now in this thread, what airline X is doing is literally completely and totally meaningless to airline Y. Catering a EK flight to DXB is a totally different ball game than a Delta SLC-YYZ flight. Catering companies are having to go for the highest profit/margin work with the little staff they have. No airline is going to pay for 16 meals at the same margin of 200+ international F/J/P/Y meals. It just isn't going to happen.
Then double cater from SLC instead of relying on the outstation. Like what happens on many other routes.

The $14.29 sandwich posted was an embarrassing offering. If I ordered a turkey sandwich for that amount off a menu, I’d think they were joking if that’s what appeared.

You guys should work out a menu you can agree on and let the rest of us know what it is

I just flew 4 legs in AF J and their pre-arrival "snack," at least on CDG-IAH, was more meal like than many of the things in this thread. Not looking forward to the crash back to reality when I need to fly domestically.

There should also be two pre-order only choices. They should appear when you get the link to pre-order your meal.

I am flying this route next week and just got the preorder. I should finally be able to post photos now so I will see if anyone has any opinions on the five options. Thanks!

LHR-ATL

Here are the five options including the two limited options for LHR-ATL. Anyone have any feedback on any of the options?

Sir, this is Delta, a US airline. If you want good food you're going to have to go to a luxury carrier...like TAP.

I had the braised beef on a recent TATL flight and I enjoyed it. The menu, for whatever reason, was way too simplistic but that meal was very tasty.

I checked for screenshots and for my Aug trip, SFO-JFK morning flight, only 3 pre-select choices, JFK-SFO nighttime departure, 3 + 2 pre-select only. Maybe the additional 2 pre-select-only are only for dinner? Or maybe it's just random, or #DeltaIT

I had this menu flying out of DUB and selected the salmon and it was really good. I worry that it might vary from trip to trip (mine was moist and properly cooked, but I could easily see how it would get overcooked if they left it in too long). I normally fly Air France when I'm travelling in J but, I have to say, I my expectations were exceeded by this Delta meal.

Also, the menu was quite different once I boarded the plane; it was a Thai lemongrass soup instead of the generic "vegetable soup" on the menu. What you're seeing might just be a placeholder.

yeah, the screenshot is for my red-eye flight SFO-JFK… so it makes sense if they want to cost-cut for the red-eye one?
