Definitely looks like a full menu rotation for September. Here is a preview of Dinner:

I suspect this was unplanned. IMO you should give the GA or someone else there lots of credit for being creative and taking the initiative so that you had some meal on the flight rather than nothing but leftover small snacks from the previous flight.

I’m flying out of LGA Tuesday in domestic F and none of the lunch items do not seem appetizing to me. Does anyone have any insight into what they may give you for the special meals generally or seen anyone order one and know what I may expect?

I don’t think I should order any of the special vegetarian options since one of the options on the regular menu is an Impossible Korean burger. That seems to leave bland, diabetic, low sodium, low cal/chol, kosher (looks like their caterer out of NYC is Borenstein).

As I mentioned upthread, this is the normal catering for the route. Delta chooses not to have a catering contract in YYZ. Everything else besides the sandwiches is double catered from SLC/ATL/LGA/MSP/DTW.

Regardless of how that sammie got onboard, at $14+ CDN (~$11 USD), it justifies lounging as much as humanly possible! (Editorializing to several commenters re: the Sky Club access thread here about whether to wait in line for snack/crudites/canapes/finger foods, flying out of the home port DTW, the lounge food options are good. Better than the pressed turkey slices presented upthread! And the goodness has spread beyond the main SC at A38 and the Bart Lounge...the A18 end lounge was serving most of the same food, and with a view!)

Is this a main cabin meal?

What's a main cabin meal? A little packet of salted pretzels or maybe peanuts if you're lucky? The drink in a real glass makes it FC.

Flying up front on DL for the first time in a while, MSP-IAH on A320 departing at 7:45pm, block time 2h54m and 1,034 miles. Any idea what to expect for dinner? Thanks!

Is Delta still doing Japanese meals to/from HND in Delta One?

What about Premium Select?

With all the time and effort spent complaining about Impossible "meat" on this thread, the extra calories might actually be beneficial

If I recall correctly pre-pandemic a lot of the catering at major Canadian airports for AC was done by LSG under a subsidiary partnered with Cathay Pacific or something. I think now they use Gate Gourmet to some extent - at least that is the company who has run trucks into a few AC planes lately at YYZ.
As noted, the YYZ-SLC flight is the only flight DL long enough to qualify for meal service out of YYZ. As with a number of other stations with limited meal flights, they likely don't have a catering contract with anyone for meal service. Normally in these situations, they would double-cater meal boxes out of SLC for the return flight. My guess is they don't want to run afoul of any Canadian customs/agriculture regs and only cater the meal boxes in the SLC-YYZ direction.

Gingery Oats with Tamari Butter and Poached Egg on SEA-JFK D1. Had no idea what to expect as it was advertised as oats with trout in the description but decided to take a risk and it ended up being this weird granola thing. The flavor was extremely bland and the texture was a bit off-putting and was overall pretty disappointed with this dish. Not sure what the small bowl in the middle is but it was quite sweet and having a bit of it with every bite helped add some much needed flavor. The description also said that it was supposed to come with a side of chia coconut pudding but that never happened which was quite disappointing. However, the provided sides were quite enjoyable, although I wasn't in the mood for as much cheese as was provided.

MSY-JFK 2 hour delay results in hot meal replaced by salad box

I wonder what happened to the 12 regular meals. Hopefully they were donated. My more important question is why is MSY-JFK being delayed so often?

Origin routinely has weather delays in the summer and destination has also not been great in that regard this year?

i do respect that. However our outbound aircraft had a technical issue and one of the ships from NYC today went mx as well. So A220 seems to have some issues.
