My guess would be BOS-LAX, BOS-SFO, BOS-PDX and/or BOS-SEA for the first neos.

Hoping we can get them into JFK too, replacing any 739’s that return to the west coast routes.

so, the original 321 had 8 doors, 4 on each side.
I know the neos took the option to remove the L/R2 doors (which weren’t big enough for L2 boarding unfortunately). But this looks like there’s no L/R3 either?

there are still four on each side … full-size doors forward and aft, plus the two smaller overwing exits (not unlike the difference between some of the 763 configurations — the handful of ex-Gulf Air birds?)

the exit configuration (size and location) constrains the cabin layout in terms of total seats (and whether there’s a window seat by the overwing exits)

Yes, please. The SEA-JFK trip on a 739 is one of my least favorite flights. 5.5 very long hours, even in FC.

It's not that the 2L door is too small for boarding but rather that the left engine is too close and at risk of being hit by the jetbridge. One of many reasons the 757 is still far superior to the 321.
