Linking Res #s necessary?
 
I originally booked a SEA-JFK ticket and have since realized I need to depart out of PSC, so I booked a separate PSC-SEA ticket. I am going to need to check a bag all the way through from PSC to JFK, do I have to reach out to Delta to have the itineraries linked? Or should I be able to check the bags right out of PSC without have to recheck.

I would cancel both reservations and rebook as one ticket, but the prices have gone up considerably.

DL agent at PSC can check bags through for you. No need to call ahead.

I have done it out of PSC before with no issues even with tickets not linked. System should see both tickets and no issue checking bag through to JFK.

To check bags across tickets, it helps to have a hard copy of both itineraries and both ticket receipts with you.
