LGA connection between C/D
 

Hi all,

apologies if this has been addressed previously. I’m flying out of LGA tomorrow with a family member who rarely travels. We are taking separate flights, but at the same time.

Hers departs C, mine D. Would I be able to check in at C and take an airside bus over to D closer to my flight? According to DL.com this bus exists although I’ve never seen it (or looked for it)

Yes you can both check in at C and then take the bus over to D. The bus is at gate C42, which is the first gate closest to the TSA security area on the left, next to the help desk and opposite the sky club. Bus leaves every 15 min or so and takes about 10 min to get to D. At Terminal D it’s another 10 min walk to the bed section (with the D90s gate numbers) so give yourself plenty of time - head over to D at least a half hour before you need to be at your gate. There’s also an endless series of ramps down to the bus and up to the other terminal, so I’d avoid having anything too heavy in your carryon.
