Flying out of CDG on Air France; which terminal?
I am on a Delta ticket flying Air France from CDG to Atlanta tomorrow. Do you guys know where I would check in? I am guessing Air France in terminal 2? Thanks.

AF flights to the USA and DL flights use 2E.
For the record, E splits into the sub-sub-terminals K, L, and M, but all of them check in at E.

Since the OP is new to CDG, in case you were not aware, at CDG, and all Schengen airports, there is an exit passport check. Similar to the immigration passport check on entry. And the line can be long. There is no similar exit check in the US. Therefore you should plan to arrive earlier than if you were flying internationally from the US. 3 hours to be safe.

AF uses other "sub-terminals" at CDG T2 in addition to E. It depends on the destination. For example, Schengen flights use F.

I believe there’s a specific check in are for US flights. It should say so on the screen when you get to the check in area.
As previously mentioned, there is an exit passport check then there’s additional security check when you enter each of the concourse (E, K, L, M). It is true that it can take some time, definitely plan on arriving at least 3 hours before the departure. Plan on hour and a half to two to get through all the checks

.......and I've waited as long as an hour in the SkyPriority passport control line. [AF IFC (La Premiere) customers are escorted to the front of the line and the automatic gates *sometimes* seem to work for EU passports.]

This. I was 15 in line last weekend and it took me 45 mins to get through checkin. Passport control took almost an hour. I got there 3 hours early and didn’t have much time to spare. By time I was done checking in the line was wrapped to the next set of counters. Definitely using AMS to return next time. CDG is a zoo.

Last time I was at CDG, before all International departures from all airlines were consolidated at 2E due to the pandemic, we arrived 3 hours before departure and barely made it to the flight. The SkyPriority passport line extended all the way to the Relay store and the security check at K was all the way to the train stop, both Sky and Regular.
What I have heard recently is that the passport control wait time is even much longer.
My experience was the opposite. I was based at CDG until a few years ago and morning departures were not an issue. Noon-3 pm departures sometimes took long especially during vacation times. AMS, however, was always a madness especially when connecting from another flight or when departing early morning. Several times it took me over 1 hour to clear passport control through a special line (shorter than regular line and SkyPriority line).

It's amazing to me how much more efficient AMS is versus CDG (and this predates COVID, too). During the morning departure bank on DL at AMS, I could reliably count on dropping off my bag at the KL counters and being through passport control within 20 mins or so. The few times I've departed from CDG, it's taken ages - to the point where it makes me want to avoid departing from CDG if I can avoid it. Notably, US citizens are eligible to use the e-gates at AMS, while they're not at CDG, which I think is a huge factor for the variability on timing.
