Current 2021 First Class meal service status -- Current FC meal service consists of cold meal boxes with the exception of JFK-SEA and BOS-SEA/SFO FC marketed flights which receive hot meal service. This includes both domestic and international DL FC marketed flights. Otherwise, only D1 marketed flights receive hot meals. All flights over 900 miles which depart before 9PM receive meal service in FC. In addition, flights over 2300 miles will receive meal service in FC for departures after 9PM.

There have been no official announcements from DL concerning when hot meals will return to FC, however, it is rumored it will return Q1 2022.

Rocks glasses returned 9/1 to all D1 routes (including transcon, HNL, BOG, and UIO). Additionally, Vizzy Hard Seltzer is now offered on all domestic routes.

Has anybody flown SEA>FAI or FAI>SEA in F the last few weeks? Flying RT starting in about a week, wondering what the "Lunch" will be.

I flew JFK-SEA and SEA-JFK in D1 on Wednesday and there were no hot towels and no amenity kits.

I'll be on SEA > ANC on the 15th, and KTN > SEA on the 18th.

Not sure who'll be going first - but I'll share my (and hopefully see your) datapoint.

SEA>FAI on the 12th and FAI>SEA on the 17th, so looks like I'll have the first datapoints. Will report back.

It will almost certainly be the exact same boxed meals they are serving on all the other FC routes as the only FC routes where they have deviated on are the BOS/JFK transcon FC routes (that have hot meals) listed in the press release.

Have an ATL-SEA trip coming up, will be curious to see if any offerings change.
Banana bread has been a breakfast option on my two ATL-SAN MQM runs since meals resumed. Again not a large portion, but I found it tasty. It would be better warmed up, though.

JFK-LAX breakfast DL 543 9/4. I asked about the Vizzy hard seltzer as I was interested, but FA stated it wasn't loaded. No PDB/amenity kit, but pillow/blanket on every seat.

Geez, no Tumi amenity kit even for their main D1 route? What’s going on with Delta? They’ll blame this on their variant of covid?

I specifically inquired too and was told it was likely only loaded for international flights, similar to an earlier report on the covid change thread.

Not much. A bag of some sort of mix, and some sort of spread with a few blueberries.

It's more a snack than a breakfast - perfect for those who are trying to lose weight via the "Delta Air Lines Diet".
