Refund Timeline
 

Hi All,

on June 18 I cancelled a flight booked on miles. My miles were immediately refunded to me, but I am still waiting for the taxes to be refunded to me. Is this normal? In the past, I feel Like the taxes would have been returned by now.

I have been through this countless times. Normally taxes are refunded within 3-5 days but if your ticket was ever exchanged/changed then the system doesn’t know what to do with the taxes so they will sit in suspense forever until you call in and they manually credit you.

Yes, the ticket was changed. I will call them.

Give it some time. I just got taxes back from one I canceled 6 weeks ago or so. There was another before that one that took 4 weeks or so.
