So... what happens in a 'pop-up' SkyClub?

I remembered pop up clubs pre-pandemic at Green Bay (GRB) and Chattanooga (CHA)?

I'm surprised that DL is voluntarily spending money now. I guess the "Battle for Alaska" is heating up.

The Green Bay one only operated for three days, although it was open admission for any DL passenger.

A member on the Facebook Amex forum says the club staff is saying the club will be year round.

Continuing to operate it throughout low season would be surprising, but might be what DL needs to do to compete effectively with AS.

The "Battle for Alaska" (TM).

I remember going to a club premerger when I flew NW through ANC, but that was when NW and AS were pals and it was the AS club. It was in February and I had a pretty long layover. I remember thinking that everyone knew everyone in this club. Staff knew all the customers, customers all seemed to know each other. I figured that was what ANC was like in the wintertime,

Hours at an ANC SC would have to be quite long to service all the flights. They have early AM departures at 0600 and late red-eyes that leave at 0100.

They could probably vary the hours seasonally.

I had a little trouble picturing where this was until I actually saw it in person:

Also accessible from the Observation Deck:

I was there outside of open hours so no pics of the offerings, I'm afraid.
