F seats CRJ-700 and A321?

I mean, on the CR7, obviously the pairs of seats will be better for a couple than the single seats (although I guess it depends on the couple and what the goal is... ).
On the A321 it shouldn’t make much of a difference.

Mrs. ATOBTTR and I often select A seats on the CRJ-700, CRJ-900, and E-175 if in F so we can both get a window seat. If on a 1-2-1 setup in J I also almost always go with two solo window seats for us so we can both enjoy the views.

Agree—unlike CRJ9 which has extra legroom in row 1, the CRJ7 is relatively cramped. The bulkhead on the A321 is also a bit cramped. Even though it has the floor cutout, I don’t think it helps much.
