Website Now Displays RUC and GUC Certificate Availability-Upgrades Extended to 12/31
Saw this when researching a flight booking. Shows if the flights have certificate availability. This is a really welcome new feature... It even looks to be available for international flights; I did a search for an international destination and it showed if D1 or PS were available via certificates.

Your image link is broken but I see what you are talking about on DL.com. This is a great new feature but it appears it came at the price of the “View Upgrade Eligibility” tab to check availability on complimentary upgrades.

If they want to save phone agent time, this is a better way to do it than doling out 2.5k miles for doing a flight change online.

Correct but it appears that that feature came at the cost of this new UG certificate availability. The old View Upgrade Eligibility tab let you see if OU/SU space was available and the new tool searches for OY inventory.

It'd be nice if they showed both, or better yet, added an Expert Mode like UA does, but I think I'll take this trade.

The old tool was good however as it also showed C+ availability which is important these days with C+ selling out quickly with the capacity restrictions. Im not sure why they cant show both but maybe they dont want people to be confused. They could remain the tab View Complimentary Upgrade Eligibility to designate from the too but I guess thats too much for DLs IT to handle.

Glad they are extending them. I’m sure they are aware that most of these certs are unredeemed. That said, many of us who chose our PM and DM benefits this past January will have all those expiring a month later. That’s a lot of RUCs and GUCs to redeem in 10 months...hope long distance travel opens up sooner rather than later.
