Cancellation invoice
I will not be able to use the credits Delta is offering for our July tickets (we are international and no plans to fly again in the next two years). Therefore I simply need to cancel for no refund. How do I do this and how do I receive a ‘cancellation invoice’ from Delta for my travel insurance? I do not want to simply apply for a credit through their website, since my family would not be able to use it.
Delta now appears to have taken their phones completely off the hook, their virtual assistant is unable to understand the query and I cannot find a Delta email anywhere.
I would be grateful for any advice.

If you have a non-refundable ticket and Delta canceled your flight, you should be able to get a refund by filling out the form on this website: https://www.delta.com/contactus/iropForm

You should still apply for a refund.
Many insurance policies require you to mitigate losses by claiming as much back from the airline / service provider as possible.

Thank you
..yes, flight going ahead so not available. We can’t fly due to medical condition. Did thankfully manage to at least get back all the Airbnb with proper documentation through their extenuating circumstances policy procedures. Delta actually helpful and efficient after contacting them via Twitter then via a DM link then via a rep.

It's very hard for anyone to offer helpful suggestions without detailed information about your flights and your tickets.
