Was offered beer & wine multiple times on ATL-SLC just now in C+. And two rounds of the Ziploc bag o’ junk. No soft drinks, no other food options.
Really great flight overall though.

Keep in mind the FAs until now have passed out some water, then retreated to the galley to chat with colleagues or read a book. Not bad work if you can get it. I’m sure many are not looking forward to actually providing service again, so it’s not surprising this initiative is off to a slow start.

On my recent flights I sat in next to last row, and was ear shot from the galley. After they passed out the cheeze-its bag they all congregated in the galley the remainder of the flight except to collect trash. I overheard one flight attendant talking to one of the make flight attendants about her ENTIRE life story and how she ended up in Salt Lake City after her mother divorced her father, etc. Don't they realize you can hear everything they say?!? 🙄

Isn't that over 900 miles? You should have been offered a Flight Fuel choice per DL's published guidelines.

Adding some data points from my flights yesterday
F DCA-ATL was offered small Dasani water during boarding; snack bag with choices similar to C+ snack box (pretzels, granola bars, bigger bags compared to the coach situation); beer and wine offered with snack bag and then asked if we wanted another during initial trash collection; not bad for a 1.5 hour or less flight (of course would love full options but definitely serviceable); felt nicely distanced as everyone sat in the window seat and only one person per pair of seats on an A319
F on CRJ <1 hr flight connection on CRJ900 out of Atlanta; absolutely nothing offered (used to get a drink service in F on this); F felt incredibly crowded because row 1 was empty; Row 2 full both on the 1 and 2 and 2 out of 3 seats full in 3 (single and pair); not horrible but felt much fuller than the same percentage in the A319

Flew ATL-DTW today and after handing out the bags of water and snack, the FA had a tray of wine and beer with cup and offered to each passenger in F.

They're not supposed to be serving ANYTHING in a cup. Hence the requirements that everything be serviced in a bottle or can. Right or wrong.

Indirectly related, one big reason why marketing has taken back the blocked seats in row 1 on certain aircraft. Far too many complaints about flight attendants "lounging" in first class during flights.
