MQDs for Partner Airlines using Skymiles?

which says you can redeem skymiles on partner flights through Delta
I also found this link

which shows you how many MQDs you can earn off of Distance Traveled (Not Dollars Spent)
Does this mean you can book a partner flight with Skymiles and receive MQDs in return?

OP, you're talking about booking a skymiles ticket on a partner airline. Every airline has a fare class, or several, for award tickets. When you attempt to book your award ticket Delta will show you the fare class that you're booking into. Take that and go to the partner chart. The fare class won't be there. Also, the partner site clearly states that "No miles are earned for Award Travel."
