Yeah, QLA and QSF sometimes work depending on the tool, and the airport sets are usually considered co-terminal when fare rules list co-terminal cities, but I don't think they are considered "true" codes like NYC or LON, which is interesting.

On JetBlue you can use XFL for PBI/FLL. Wish that worked more broadly.
MFL can work for MIA/FLL

Not ideal for Boca Raton folks. Doesn't work in ExpertFlyer or on Delta.com though.

Ah yes, I definitely used that one when helping my sister plan her honeymoon (which included BsAs, Mendoza, and Montevideo/PdelE)
RIO came in handy for the recent J fare sale as DL's JFK-GIG doesn't operate daily so we had to go down via GRU but could then connect to either GIG or SDU, the latter obviously being much more convenient.

.
The MFL code (I think) still works in Delta's Internal systems (Deltamatic) but I guess not exposed to DL.com.

Although Delta doesn't serve it yet, I wonder if they'll create a shared code for SEA/PAE. Currently United and Alaska operate to PAE.

and the only way to get both to show in a flight search is to click “Include nearby airports” :/
