GUC - wrong class of booking showing?
Hi All, I have a booking TLV-CDG-JFK-LAX-LAS-SEA-CDG-TLV - all booked via Delta and all in PE, Premium Select or Comfort+ as per second highest class on the plane.
I have applied GUC for the long legs and the Delta metal have all cleared (yay) - but the AF is not. I can see Z class available on both legs.
I can also see on AF that I am in a Premium Economy seat with the PE baggage allowance (& the Diamond extra piece) - BUT - on Delta My Trip it is showing as a G class economy ticket?
Any ideas what I can do here?
Thanks so much in advance

Anyone know if Delta will put you on an earlier skyteam flight on a cleared GUC under the old rules?
Flying next month LHR/AMS on KLM and then a one hour and twenty minute layover at AMS and then AMS/DTW on Delta metal. It was only flight option available on that date in confirmed Delta one for that date when I booked it just before the policy change was to take place.
I know that's an easy connection in AMS normally but I've heard stories of huge lines with the strike going at AMS and am a little nervous about missing the connection and I'm on the last AMS flight of the day back to DTW. Don't really mine if I end up in coach for the short LHR/AMS portion on KLM since I don't want to risk being stranded in AMS overnight, especially since I've heard the security lines can take hours to get through

If it's delayed of course they can rebook. AF via CDG or if space available VS nonstop.

Thanks for that FlyerCO - so, assuming I can make that clear to the DM line - and I can see Z class availability on both legs - what would you recommend I do when they tell me there is no availability? I have tried a couple of times and been put on hold for about an hour or so and then told there's nothing they can do.
Many thanks

Was under the impression that premium economy (A) could be upgraded even if on AF metal - however, agents saying that it is not. HUCA x4, messaging x3 - only 1 agent said not possible, the others didn't know anything about GUCs on AF and said they can't apply anything. Told them about the ghost PNR etc and no luck. The new GUC terms on delta's site seems to suggest the agent is correct. Would appreciate any tips / corroboration that AF prem economy A cannot be upgraded. Thanks all.

The new GUC terms seem to say that you *can* upgrade from A to business.

That's as may be -- I've been told the same thing, by agents who otherwise sounded like they knew what was going on, though this contradicts what knowledgeable FTers say -- but either way, it's a separate issue from the question of whether it's even possible to upgrade from a PE A fare (which the website says yes).

Thanks everyone - got through to the KLM/AF/JV partner desk - agent was first saying not possible then I requested transfer to her supervisor who said yes it is possible but that there is no Z fares available at the time. Guess I'll keep checking back occasionally, but good to know the supervisor at the partner desk line seems to know how to get the upgrades if space is available.
Anyone know if more Z space more often than not opens up closer to the flight?

With an ExpertFlyer subscription you can set an alert to be emailed when Z opens up on an individual flight, which could be very handy here. That said, if the flight is for travel this summer, given incredibly high demand everywhere, I would not have high hopes for Z fares opening up on any flights where they're not currently open.
