I'm concerned that those look like non-reclining hard shells, where the seat moves forward to give a sense of recline. That would be like the universally hated Air France premium economy seats.

As someone who never reclines, I'm all for it. I really like the design and added privacy. I'm looking forward to it.

I love the added privacy, hopefully those wings are angled such that you can rest your head on them as well. Sometimes I sleep better on a window C+ seat with nobody next to me so I can just sleep against the body of the plane instead of using those winged headrests.

Beyond that people will probably have to sit in them to really see how comfortable they are.

Literally never. I don't need the recline to rest. I hate when people recline in front of me do it so I'm not going to it to the person behind me.

The renderings show what appears to be a recline button on the right hand side of the aisle seats.

Looks like you're correct. If you open the image separately and zoom in, there's clearly a recline button.

Yes, I'm sure there will a recline function, my question is which type does this seat offer? The seats on AF PE that I referenced are a hard shell seat, and they "recline" works by slidiing the seat cushion forward and then the back cushion slouching down, while the hard shell of the seat remains fixed. As Pip Carlson mentions, the upside of this style is that the recline does not interfere with the space of the pax behind you at all. The downside that is common among nearly all trip reports of this product is that the recline is quite uncomfortable and not good for sleeping.

That's what I saw too. It also looks like there is a clear separation between the seatback and the arms of the seat rather than a single piece plastic shell.

Can anyone tell what that thing is in between the seats? Is that a divider shown in a retracted position?
