Is MR added to the first name on the ticket a problem?
 

I have a ticket issued with the name showing as FirstnameMR Lastname
It's showing like that as if it was my name, in the "security record" or whatever it's called (passenger name, DOB record) and everywhere.
Never happened before. Is it a problem?

No not a problem at all.

Names often get reversd or cut off or merged and it causes no problem at all.

I have a trip booked through Delta vacations that came through FirstMiddleMr Last, not expecting any issues.

I had one (very young looking) TSA agent ask about it at the ID check. I pointed out it was a KLM ticket and they append “MR” to the name for “mister.” No problem.

The other 3 times I’ve had that from AF/KLM tickets nobody batted an eyelid. Pre-check has worked in all of those cases too.

On most of my tickets, I'm Firstmiddle Last and this seems to work if I need to find my reservation by searching for the PNR. However, when I submitted a claim for my 2500 miles for a late bag last week, deltadumb insisted that I was First Last rather than Firstmiddle Last as on the ticket and PNR. I wish DL would just be consistent on this.

IIRC track my bags behaves the same way.

Many TAs and foreign carriers insert Mr or whatever on tickets, but this doesn't seem to be the norm if one buys tickets directly from DL.
