DL codeshare on MU; upgrade option?
 
I have a DL marketed MU operated flight from PVG-SFO coming up. It’s an economy Q fare. Wondering since it was booked through Delta whether there is any option to upgrade with SkyMiles? Or since it’s China Eastern operated, is it just the standard paid upgrade offer at check-in?

Standard paid upgrade. DL AFAIK has never offered mileage upgrades on MU.

Aside from DL flights, Mileage Upgrade Awards are only available on VS, KL, AF, and AM operated flights --

"Mileage Upgrade Awards allows you to use miles to upgrade on most Delta-operated flights and on certain Virgin Atlantic-operated, Air France/KLM-operated, and Aeromexico-operated flights."
