This makes sense since January 6th is a Monday in 2020. The first Monday after the week of NYE makes sense as five days should be enough time for most MQMs from 2019 to post, although of course there will be exceptions, especially involving certain partner flights or IROPs rebookings, that DL can easily fix later.

Delta MQM Reset/Rollover 2019/2020 Consolidated Discussion Thread

Sure enough, my DL account is now showing 0 MQM, 0 MQS, 0 MQD and 0 DL AmEx card spend. It's officially 2020, and yes I know that rollover will happen as scheduled, so that at least my MQM number will be plumped up, although I'll have a flight or two before that happens.

My last flight of the year landed around 6:30pm on New Year’s Eve. My account on delta.com has already rolled over to 2020 but the app is still showing the 2019 totals, including that recent flight on NYE.

Mine just zeroed out. Staying New Years at the Burbank Marriott. (Yay!)

Flew the last 90 days getting EXP on AA, just for kicks. Back to DL I go for 2020!

EOY screenshot for posterity.

I woke up this morning to see the straight zeros across in my DL app. Won’t be that way for very long as I already have a flight this morning.

Next year DL should briefly replace the normal sliders that show ones MQM/MQD/MQS/AMEX numbers with a peach slowly sliding down to zero.

Delta MQM Rollover 2019/2020 Consolidated Discussion Thread

I applied for and was granted a status challenge from DL. I successfully completed the challenge and got Gold Medallion. I asked in the status challenge thread and but I don't think I got anything definitive. I ended 2019 with 44,655 MQM. I think I only needed 12,500 MQM to qualify for the status challenge. So there's a difference of 32,155 additional MQMs which I accrued after meeting the challenge. It didn't rollover into 2020. As of today, I start the year with 0. Since the extra 30k MQMs didn't help get me to the next higher level, why didn't it rollover? Is there a chance I can get Delta to move it over into 2020?

Thank you.

I think they are still working on the rollover miles as I also see 0 miles being rolled over from 2019 at this time in the app. I would imagine it will get resolved soon.

Oh? Is it like this every year? Usually takes DL's system a few days to do the MQM rollover?

Rollover can take several weeks to post. That said, since you met status via a challenge with much lower qualifications than the standard requirements, I would not expect any rollover.

I’m not sure you will roll over what you think. I’m pretty sure it’s over the normal qualifying so only anything over 50,000. I’m not sure your match is relevant. All it did was get you there early.

I think this is likely correct.
FWIW, the mom rollover is slated to begin 1/6/2020
