Tried applying RUCs on JFK - SFO to D1. Surprisingly no immediate inventory opened up for *any* afternoon and evening flights at late March, even with all seats open at D1 cabin. That's a little bit ridiculous.

What day of the week? There's a lot of late afternoon and evening demand for paid J on this route. Especially if you are flying on a Thursday or Friday when the business crowd is heading back to SFO before the weekend.

It is a flight on Monday afternoons. Maybe that's a peak time for business travelers as well.

Applied RUCs to both legs as PM:

ATL--> SAN: Upgraded to First after being seated in C+. Always worth it to walk back to the front
SAN --> ATL: 4 out of 55 for zero seats in First. There were 5 or 6 seats available 48 hours before the flight.

First two non-paid F or international flights of the year.

GM

BWI - DTW -- Upgrade to F at T-72 (T Fare)
DTW - BWI - Upgrade to F at T-72 (U Fare)

The return leg in particular looks like a pretty light load.

Used an RUC for a planned FLL-PHX X SLC and return PHX-FLL X ATL and had all segs clear at booking except the FLL SLC leg. Kept an eye on it and at check in I was #1 with 0 seats left in F. Checked with the GA and no good, all seats checked in. I accepted my fate as I was at least in a good C+ seat. Before the door closed, the GA boarded and handed me my BP for 4C. Yea! On top of that, one of the best Lead FAs I've ever had. Worked the whole flight, never hid in the galley, offered refills, etc Thanked all the MMs personally and spent some time talking with me (3MM) and another 4MM across from me. Thanks Delta!
