DL 832 from yesterday delayed 14 hours
Does anyone know what happened to yesterday's DCA-SLC? It didn't leave until this morning and is still in flight (estimated about 14 hours late).

pilot under the weather perhaps? that's one of two 757 trips to/from DCA, so they would have to find someone in ATL or NYC

Remember when half the DCA-ATL flying was on 757s? Also, some random city in Florida should be widebodies only (because that notorious poster will inevitably awaken and say so anyway).

Me too. DL started flying 757s out of DCA in late 1984.
Actually, if you could get into the F section of a 727, it was great. Only 12 seats in the cabin (4 rows of 2 on one side, 2 rows of 2 on the other). Seats were cloth covered but very comfortable and quite wide. Cocktail service started the moment you sat down, and continued basically until you got to the top of the runway. Great meals, even though the flight was only 80 minutes long. Those were the days.
